G- Gaga

"I wanted a new way to reinvent myself." There are a few different stories of how Lady Gaga got her stage name. Lady Gaga found her self in the New York Underground scene. Gaga Got her name from Queen's song "Radio Gaga." Her producer and boyfriend at the time: Rob Fusari would always start singing "Radio Gaga" whenever she walked into the studio because he thought her vocal style was a lot like the lead singer Freddie Mercury from Queen.

At first it was just a nick name used by her friends, then by the time she was starting to preform she knew she needed a new name more fitting to her life. Rob was trying to text Radio Gaga and his phone corrected it to Lady and sent it to gaga. She Loved it! "Gaga is sort of crazy and Lady has such connotations." From that day she decided that she would be known as Lady Gaga.
Rob helped get her career started, he helped write Beautiful Dirty Rich, Disco Heaven, Dirty Ice cream, and the biggest hit he was apart of is Paparazzi. In 2010 Rob attempted to file a lawsuit on Lady Gaga for 30 million dollars claiming that he gave Gaga her name and made her who she is today. Lady gaga came back with a counter lawsuit for Rob for acting as her talent agent with no license to do so. Later in 2010 they both decide to drop their law suits on each other.
